Maki

@CHOPECHOPESTUDIO

CHOPE CHOPE is a London-based creative studio and kitchen, bringing together over a decade of experience in global brand collaborations, and private dining experiences. Founded by Maki, the food is deeply rooted in family tradition. Many of the recipes were passed down and taught by her father, a first-generation Singaporean-Malaysian hawker with more than 40 years of experience. Today, Maki brings her own contemporary perspective to these recipes while continuing to honour the stories and roots from which it grew. In Singlish, “Chope” means to reserve a seat and at CHOPE CHOPE, everyone is welcome at the table.

Kiki

@murder.cake

Murder Cake was unofficially established in 2020 by Kiki Cheung, a jelly maker and pastry chef who moved from Hong Kong to London. Currently based in South East London, she continues to explore jelly as a core creative medium. Growing up, jelly candy was always a must-have on the dessert table at birthday parties, a familiar childhood treat that still inspires her today. Kiki creates bright and wobbly desserts, bringing together Asian-inspired flavours with a mix of cute, quirky and romantic aesthetics. At Murder Cake, everything is an experiment, transforming desserts into fun and immersive sensory experiences.
